46. JONATHAN LEIGH (chr 16 Mar 1733 St Peter's - aft 27 Mar 1762). Father 41. WILLIAM LEIGH
md NN UNKNOWN, est. 1760 in ?St. Peter's

We know nothing of this JONATHAN's adult life, other than his prominent place in his father's will as eldest surviving son and the likelihood that he was father of 55. WILLIAM NASH LEIGH.
55. William Nash LEIGH (abt 1763 - 22 Mar 1807 St Peter's)
This man was sheriff in 1801, and likely he was also the William who became a burgess in 1791 and sheriff in 1804 (as found by Derek Williams).
With these people the line of RICHARD LEIGH seems to die out after its two centuries in the borough of Carmarthen.
